1. What we collect

We collect the information you give us (email, account details) and the payroll data you connect through our partners (e.g. Argyle), including paystubs, hours, wages, and employment history. We also collect basic usage data to improve the product.

2. How we use it

We use your data to run wage audits, deliver results, process payments, communicate with you, and improve Mispaid. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers needed to operate the product (Supabase for storage and authentication, Stripe for payments, Argyle for payroll connections, PostHog for analytics) and where required by law. Your employer is never contacted or notified.

4. Security

We use 256-bit encryption in transit and at rest. Payroll connections are read-only. We never see or store your payroll passwords.

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other laws.

6. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. We’ll post the new version here with an updated date.
